Mandatory Compliance
To maintain grid safety and comply with Littlebird’s Child Protection Policy, all creators producing "Child," "Youth," or "Petite" themed bodies and skins must adhere to the following technical requirements.
1. Permanent Modesty Layers
A "Permanent Modesty Layer" is defined as a non-removable visual texture representing undergarments that remains visible even when all inventory attachments (clothing/HUDs) are removed.
- For Texture Creators (Skins): Modesty layers (opaque underwear/undershirts) must be baked directly into the diffuse texture map. The use of "Alpha masks" to create nudity on a child-themed skin is strictly prohibited.
- For Mesh Creators (Bodies): If the body uses a custom UV map, the base texture provided with the body must include baked-in modesty layers. We strongly recommend building the modesty layer into the 3D geometry of the mesh itself.
- Coverage Requirement: Modesty layers must provide full coverage of the pelvic and chest regions (for all genders).
Prohibited Features:
- No "Adult" or "NSFW" texture variants for child-themed bodies.
- No "Invisible" or "Alpha" toggles on HUDs that reveal anatomical details.
- No sexually suggestive built-in animations or "AO" poses.
2. Naming & Metadata
When listing items in the Littlebird Marketplace or in-world stores:
- Items must be clearly tagged as "Child-Themed" or "Youth-Themed."
- Any attempt to circumvent these rules by mislabeling assets will result in a permanent creator ban and removal of all store listings.
3. Submission & Review
Littlebird Staff perform routine "Transparency Audits" on the grid. If an asset is found to violate the modesty requirement:
- The item will be deleted from the grid assets database.
- The creator will be notified of the specific violation.
- Repeated violations will result in the loss of merchant privileges.
Thank you for helping us keep Littlebird a safe and creative environment for everyone.
